President's International Advisory Council
KAUST is an international, graduate-level research university in Saudi Arabia that is dedicated to inspiring a new age of scientific achievement in the Kingdom that will also benefit the region and the world.
The President's International Advisory Council (IAC) supports and advises the President on the overall academic development of the University towards establishing KAUST as a globally renowned graduate university that makes significant contributions to scientific and technological advancements.
As an advisory group to the President, the IAC has a substantial representation of widely-respected scholars, researchers and academic leaders in addition to leaders with domain expertise in other areas who can be helpful to the President. Members of the Council are selected on the basis of their leadership, expertise and experience in scientific, technical, business and academic domains.
The international members of the Council, reflecting the cultural and geographical diversity spanning Asia, Europe and North America, complement Saudi members of the Council who are able to advise the President on relationships and other issues in relation to the Kingdom.
