Description of services

The Innovation Cluster will house a built-in incubator for young technology start-ups transiting from a technology research project to a commercial company / reality.

The incubator will offer the following for the qualified technology start-ups:

Start-up assistance:

• Business Plan development;
• Fund raising from external parties;
• Bring advisors & mentors to the companies;

Corporatization assistance:

• Corporate structure;
• Establishment of company in Saudi Arabia;
• Recruitment of professional employees;

Business Intelligence assistance:

• Customers;
• Suppliers;
• Investors;
• Pre-Qualification for the KAUST Seed Funds

KAUST has a Seed Fund to help start-up projects / companies to prove the concept of their technologies (cash up to US$25,000) and upon successful due diligence, to invest cash up to US$250,000 and in-kind into the company.
