Relocation Process
The Relocation process is designed to make your move as smooth as possible. Your Relocation Coordinator will work with you to plan and execute it.
- You formally accept KAUST’s offer of employment and send a signed contract back to the Human Resources office.
- After you sign KAUST’s offer, you are assigned a Relocation Coordinator who will contact you and coordinate your move.
- Your Relocation Coordinator will send you an access code to KAUST’s private relocation Web site. The Web site will allow you to check the status of your move, exchange information and documents with your Relocation Coordinator and post inquiries.
- Your Visa application is the most important document to be processed. Your Relocation Coordinator will also arrange for your family’s visas.
- KAUST has selected a world-class network of moving / relocation specialists to arrange for the shipment of your personal effects. Your Relocation Coordinator will help you set up and prepare the shipment.
- Our travel agents will book your travel under the guidance of your Relocation Coordinator, taking note of your requirements and any special needs. They will arrange for accommodations if your trip requires a stopover.
- On the appointed date, you will travel to KAUST. Our dedicated “meet and greet” team will pick you up at the airport with a welcome pack (including maps and city guides) and take you to your pre-arranged accommodations.
- Your Relocation Coordinator will make sure that you settle in properly and arrange for the final administrative steps to take place so your family can join you.
